Indiana Factory Shops was originally an outlet mall located at 9401 South Factory Shop Boulevard in Daleville, Indiana, a small city in Delaware County. The mall was situated near the intersection of Interstate 69 and State Road 67, providing convenient highway access. Daleville is part of a suburban and semi-rural region in east-central Indiana, not far from the larger city of Muncie. The area is not a major tourist destination and lacks beaches, but benefits from highway connectivity that supports local commerce and commuting.

The Indiana Factory Shops outlet mall was developed in the mid-1990s during the peak of the outlet shopping market. It initially housed about 120 stores offering a typical mix of outlet retail options. These included fashion and footwear brands, sportswear, home goods, and some luxury or specialty brands. For example, shoe stores like Rack Room Shoes were part of the mall’s retail lineup.
